Jack Irish is a television drama series and a series of Australian television movies adapted from the detective novels by Peter Temple. The series stars Guy Pearce in the lead role of Jack Irish, a former criminal lawyer turned private investigator and debt collector. The novels have been adapted by screenwriters Andrew Knight and Matt Cameron, and directed by Jeffrey Walker (the telemovies) and Kieran Darcy-Smith (the series).
